Wheel of Time Season 3 Cast: Full List

Amazon Prime Video’s hit fantasy series, “The Wheel of Time,” is coming back with Season 3, and fans couldn’t be more excited. While we wait for the release date, the good news is that several characters and cast members are already confirmed to return — and some new faces will also join the magical world of Rand al’Thor.

Season 3 will continue adapting Robert Jordan’s best-selling book series. This time, the story will be based mainly on The Shadow Rising, the fourth book in the Wheel of Time series. That means more Aiel warriors, deeper magical battles, and powerful twists that will shape Rand’s destiny as the Dragon Reborn.

Let’s take a look at every confirmed character and cast member for The Wheel of Time Season 3 so far.

Rosamund Pike as Moiraine Damodred

Moiraine, the mysterious and powerful Aes Sedai of the Blue Ajah, will return. After losing her connection to the One Power in Season 2, fans are eager to see how Moiraine adapts to her new reality. Rosamund Pike’s performance continues to be a highlight of the series.

Josha Stradowski as Rand al’Thor

Rand is now confirmed as the Dragon Reborn, the one destined to either save or destroy the world. Season 3 will likely follow his journey to the Aiel Waste and his training to better control his immense power. Expect a more intense version of Rand this season.

Zoë Robins as Nynaeve al’Meara

Nynaeve has grown into a strong and confident channeler. Her character development in Season 2 was praised by fans, and she’s expected to take on more leadership in the group. Her role in the upcoming battles will be crucial.

Madeleine Madden as Egwene al’Vere

Egwene’s journey into becoming a powerful Aes Sedai continues. Season 2 ended with a major emotional moment for her character, and she’s now set to become one of the central figures in the Aes Sedai world.

Marcus Rutherford as Perrin Aybara

Perrin, the gentle blacksmith with wolf-like abilities, is still learning to control his powers. His journey will take him deeper into the mysteries of the wolves and his connection to the natural world.

Dónal Finn as Mat Cauthon

After being recast in Season 2, Dónal Finn continues as Mat Cauthon. Mat’s luck-based powers and destiny involving ancient artifacts will come into play more prominently this season.

Daniel Henney as Lan Mandragoran

Lan remains Moiraine’s loyal Warder, although their bond has been tested like never before. Season 3 will likely show Lan rediscovering his strength as a warrior and protector.

New Cast Members & Characters

Season 3 will also introduce new characters from The Shadow Rising. Although Amazon hasn’t revealed all names yet, here are a few characters that might appear:

Aviendha – A fierce Aiel warrior and one of Rand’s possible love interests.

Couladin and the Shaido Aiel – A rebel Aiel group likely to challenge Rand’s leadership.

Asmodean – One of the Forsaken, who may become Rand’s unexpected mentor in the ways of the One Power.

Return of the Forsaken

Season 2 introduced the Forsaken, ancient and evil channelers who serve the Dark One. Expect more of them in Season 3, possibly including:

Graendal

Moghedien

Lanfear (who played a big role in Season 2 and may return again)

The White Tower and Aes Sedai Politics

Characters like Liandrin, Alanna, and other Aes Sedai are expected to return as the politics within the White Tower heat up. The conflict between different Ajahs (factions) will likely become more intense in the upcoming episodes.

What Can Fans Expect in Season 3?

With more characters, bigger magical battles, and deeper storylines, The Wheel of Time Season 3 is shaping up to be the biggest season yet. The story will move into the Aiel Waste, Rand will begin to rise as a true leader, and the stakes will get higher with the presence of more Forsaken.

For fans of the books and the show, it’s going to be a wild ride!
