The movie update for Attack on Titan is disappointing for fans worldwide.
Attack on Titan The Last Attack, a compilation film that showcases the final two episodes of the series as a grand two-hour cinematic spectacle, is set to make its international premiere. However, in the majority of overseas countries, the film will not have a traditional theatrical release window.
Crunchyroll just announced several one-day-only showing dates for The Last Attack around the world. On February 10, both the official English-dubbed version and the original Japanese version will be shown in the U.S. and Canada. If they can make it to the theater on February 6, fans of AoT in Australia and New Zealand will get the opportunity to view the movie four days sooner. Additionally, the movie will get a one-day theatrical release in some European nations, according to Sony Pictures Entertainment. Below is a list of all regions and dates.

Many fans of AoT were disappointed by this update because they were anticipating a typical three- to four-week release window for the movie. Since the series finale aired in November 2023, the animation industry for the property has remained comparatively quiet. In addition to delivering more scenes that show new facets of the world and its many adored characters, Attack on Titan: The Last Attack attempts to distill the action-packed conclusion of the anime. On November 8, 2024, the movie made its Japanese premiere.
Fans who missed AoT’s last episodes can catch up with the official synopsis of the movie, which was posted on Crunchyroll: Years after enlisting in the Survey Corps, Eren encounters a deadly enemy and eventually acquires a unique talent that reveals a new reality about the world he knows. After leaving the walls and being cut off from his fellow soldiers, Eren is motivated by this new reality and devises “The Rumbling,” a horrifying scheme to exterminate all living things on Earth. A diverse group of Eren’s formerly allies and adversaries rush to stop his lethal quest as the world’s fate hangs in the balance. “Can they stop him?” is the only question.
Other recent franchise developments somewhat offset the depressing news of The Last Attack. Unbreakable, the first VR Attack on Titan game made for the well-liked “Meta Quest” headset brand, was released globally on December 17. This thrilling new release, created by UNIVRS, immerses players in the universe of AoT as a brand-new Survey Corps member. Players fight to keep titans, including the powerful Armored Titan, in a heroic mission to protect humanity in this game, which was inspired by the well-known “Wall Maria” episode from the series. The official Meta Quest store sells Unbreakable. The first three seasons of Attack on Titan were also been made available on Crunchyroll in a stunning Steelbook-bound Blu-ray bundle.
You can watch the Attack on Titan anime series on Crunchyroll and Hulu. Kodansha US offers the original Attack on Titan manga in English.
