Anime fans, rejoice: “Oshi no Ko” has officially announced renewal of its 3rd season run, which will be premiering in 2026!
An announcement was made alongside a teaser visual and short trailer, both of which feature the character Ruby Hoshino, but it is unclear what role she will play in the new season.The teaser visual features Ruby in an in deep thought look. The accompanying trailer teases the struggles and development in store for her character.
The same production team is back for this season as well. Doga Kobo remains the animation studio, with Daisuke Hiramaki directing. The animation and overall story-telling quality are expected to remain on par with the series so far.
Although we still do not have the exact release date, the 2026 premiere window has fans quaking in excitement. Sadly for creators, with data already available on discussions on sub-reddits etc, speculations and plots are already trending.
