The wait might finally be over for GTA 6 fans. A fresh leak online claims that Grand Theft Auto 6 could launch in November 2025, and the second trailer might drop by the end of May.
This update comes from a well-known X (Twitter) user, Detective Seeds, who’s famous for sharing gaming leaks. While some of their past leaks were true, not everything has been accurate, so it’s best to take this new info with a pinch of salt.
Many fans were expecting GTA 6 to follow Rockstar’s previous patterns — GTA 5 was released in September, and Red Dead Redemption 2 came in October. But if this leak is correct, GTA 6 will break that pattern with a November release. The leak doesn’t mention an exact date, just the month.
When it comes to the second trailer, fans have been waiting for a long time. Rockstar released the first trailer way back in December 2023, and since then, there’s been total silence throughout 2024 and even into 2025. According to the same leak, Trailer 2 will arrive at the end of May 2025, but again, no confirmed date yet.
Fans are becoming impatient, and the pressure is mounting on Rockstar Games. This is projected as one of the biggest video game launches of all time, and such a prominent release tends to require a huge marketing push. If Rockstar is looking to debut GTA 6 later this year around the holiday season, the studio will need to start promoting the game very soon.
There is no word from Rockstar on that front, at least not as of this writing. They have been silent on the latest rumors as well. But if they do, we will update this story right away.
So while this leak brings hope, fans should still wait for Rockstar to confirm things officially.
