Marvel Studios then provided an update on the future of “Moon Knight,” the series that introduced Oscar Isaac as a character known as Marc Spector in 2022.
Marvel’s Head of Streaming, Brad Winderbaum — “There are no plans for a second season of ’Moon Knight’ at this time.” But fans can expect the character to return in future Marvel projects. “I would love to see a Moon Knight Season 2, but there are plans for Moon Knight down the road and that’s not —” Winderbaum said when asked about new Moon Knight material.
It is in step with Marvel Television’s evolving strategy. In the past, the goal was to introduce characters with standalone series before they integrated into bigger projects. Now the strategy has shifted toward developing series with potential for an annual release cycle, like traditional TV formats. Winderbaum said, “And now our priorities have changed to what’s coming next. We’re making shows as shows that can function as annual releases, more like television.”
While it seems unlikely that “Moon Knight” will get a second season, Marvel’s future TV offerings are solid. “Daredevil: Born Again,” with Charlie Cox, will bow on March 4, 2025. The series hopes to provide for a mix, both in quality and tension that the Netflix show featured. The new series would preserve the same sensibility of what audiences loved in the original, Cox assured fans.
Besides “Daredevil,” Marvel has more shows set to premiere in 2025
“Ironheart”: Arriving June 24, this series will follow Riri Williams, a young genius who builds her own high-tech armor.
Eyes of Wakanda: This animated series, which will be available to stream on Aug. 6, will explore different characters within Wakanda and give an in-depth look into their stories.
Marvel Zombies: Set for October, this series will take a new look at the Marvel Universe, featuring zombified versions of familiar characters.
Wonder Man (December): This series will introduce Simon Williams (Wonder Man) to the MCU.

So while there may not be a traditional second season of “Moon Knight,” his appearances in the future can only further embellish the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
