Jujutsu Kaisen

Anime fans, get ready! A new Jujutsu Kaisen film has just been revealed. The arc will explore the emotional “Hidden Inventory / Premature Death” arc, which revolves around the tragic bond and fallout between Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto.

It was announced at AnimeJapan 2025, where the first official trailer was shown. The movie in question will release in theatres on May 30, 2025 and has already gotten fans discussing how emotional and intense it seems.

A Painful Story Retold With New Visuals

The upcoming movie will act as a recap of early Season 2, but with a cinematic twist. The trailer features new scenes from Gojo and Geto’s past along with a softer version of Tatsuya Kitani’s “Ao no Sumika / Where Our Blue Is.” The music sets a sad and nostalgic tone, perfectly matching the story’s heavy emotions.

This arc shows how Gojo and Geto—once best friends—ended up on opposite sides of a bitter fight. Viewers already saw this in the anime, but the movie adds new energy and emotion, making it a must-watch for any Jujutsu Kaisen fan.

Main Cast Joins the Reveal Event

During the trailer reveal, major voice actors were present:

Junya Enoki (Yuji Itadori)

Yuichi Nakamura (Satoru Gojo)

Takahiro Sakurai (Suguru Geto)

Anna Nagase (Riko Amanai)

Their look also contributed to the hype and proved how vital this movie is for the franchise.

Jujutsu Kaisen Still Reigning Supreme

Jujutsu Kaisen has emerged as a worldwide phenomenon in the world of anime. Both seasons can be streamed on Crunchyroll, as can the prequel movie Jujutsu Kaisen 0. The manga has sold more than 100 million copies, and in 2023 it was the most-watched anime in the world.

The narrative centers on Yuji Itadori, a high schooler who consumes a cursed object to rescue his friend. That act causes him to become the vessel of Ryomen Sukuna, the King of Curses. Guided by Gojo and other sorcerers, he trains to combat curses using cursed energy.
