The first part of the Demon Slayer Infinity Castle trilogy will premiere sometime in 2025.

Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment yarn released the trilogy earlier this year, and it will be playing in theaters eventually over the world, barring Japan and a few Asian nations.

Fans of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba attending the CCXP event in Brazil were over the moon when Crunchyroll and Ufotable dropped a new image and premiere updates on the highly-anticipated Infinity Castle film trilogy. The first movie will serve as the starting point of anime for the final arc of everyone’s favorite manga series; it will be released in theaters worldwide in 2025.

Japan and a handful of Asian countries will be the only exceptions in theaters worldwide when the trilogy, which Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment announced earlier this year, is released. Even without knowing the exact release dates of the films, anticipation is still building.

The visuals of the Infinity Castle trilogy were simply stunning in the hands of the animation powerhouse Ufotable, the under-credited Heroes Akira Matsushima as Chief Animation Director and Character Designer, and directed by Haruo Sotozaki. The score will also be composed by the well-known musical duo Yuki Kajiura and Go Shiina.

Set in the world of demons, Tanjiro Kamado is nutured by his family until his sister Nezuko is turned into a demon and his family is savaged in the television series Demon Slayer. With its engaging story and beautiful animation, the journey — set in Japan’s Taisho Period — has captivated people everywhere.

You can also watch the anime’s previous story arcs, including the Mugen Train Arc and the more recent Hashira Training Arc, streaming on Crunchyroll in both dubbed and undubbed formats.
