Executive producer Sana Amanat and Marvel TV head Brad Winderbaum explained that this choice was essential to propel Matt Murdock’s character development. Foggy’s death forces Matt to confront his inner demons and question his moral boundaries, adding a profound layer to the narrative. While this loss is significant, there are hints that Foggy and Karen Page may return in different capacities in future seasons.
Introduction of White Tiger
The series introduces Hector Ayala, portrayed by the late Kamar de los Reyes, as White Tiger—the first Latino superhero in American comics.
