Dandadan Season 2: In late 2024, Dandadan swept the anime world with one of the most successful and strange visual extravaganzas fans have seen in a long time.

A viral opening song, incredible art and animation, and a plot that expertly combines humor, action, and romance propelled Dandadan—which is based on the manga by Yukinobu Tatsu—to the top of the popularity lists.
Fans were curious about the next episode of the anime since the first half ended with episode #12, which aired on December 21, 2024. Although the announcement was anticipated to be made during Jump Festa 2025, it has already begun to circulate online. The second season of Dandadan will premiere in June 2025, according to credible news accounts like @MangaMoguraRE and @SugoiLITE, and a major visual has already been released.

Dandadan is scheduled to return in July 2025.

The story of Jiji and the Evil Eye will be the basis for the anime.
It was clear that the production chose to divide the first season of Dandadan in two, especially because episode #12 ends abruptly at the start of a new arc. This choice provides Science Saru with the time and resources necessary to ensure that the anime will meet the high standards that viewers have already been accustomed to. Given how highly acclaimed Dandadan has been for its artistic direction, it would be devastating to witness a decline in quality brought on by staff overwork, as is the case with many anime.

Fortunately, fans won’t have to wait long either, since Dandadan will return in July 2025—seven months after the first season/course ended. The next arc, which centers on a new character named Jiji and a new, strong yokai called the Evil Eye, will be where the anime resumes. It will be intriguing to observe what obstacles Momo and Okarun face in their developing relationship as well as on the battlefield.

Jump Festa 2025 is probably where further information about Dandadan season 2 will be unveiled, but fans can already relax knowing that the major anime reveal of 2024 will return shortly.
