Viewers of all ages and demographics are fans of fantasy television. What could be more healthy than a good fantasy book set in a different world? It actually gives us the possibility to escape from our difficult lives and travel to wonderful worlds. Even if action, drama, science fiction, and comedy all do a fantastic job of entertaining us, nothing completes the task as effectively as the epic fantasies of other nations.
Lock & Key
Travel to Mattheson, Massachusetts with the Locke family as they settle into the famous Keyhouse in this animated film based on the comic book series of the same name. They encounter some really frightening enemies who want to utilise the magical keys for themselves while also learning about a set of keys that provide them extraordinary abilities.
House of the Dragon
You remember how we said there are other television programs besides Game of Thrones? There is, however, a recent program that is set in the same planet. About 200 years before the first season of the show, House of the Dragon follows the House Targaryen. Not only is there a lot of dragon fire, but things also get quite hot very rapidly.
Lord of the Rings
It appears that everyone is getting a prequel these days given that Amazon is reviving the venerable Lord of the Rings series. The project, which will take place tens of thousands of years before the Peter Jackson films, will include some of the most well-known characters from Tolkien’s writings coming to life for the first time.
Wednesday
Netflix released Wednesday a little later than usual this year, but it quickly gained a huge following. The central character of the fantasy horror series, Wednesday Addams from The Addams Family, is a coming-of-age comedy.
The Sandman
The Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment production The Sandman is a 2022 fantasy drama series. Created by Neil Gaiman, David S. Goyer, and Allan Heinberg specifically for the dominant streaming service, Netflix.
