From Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, the latest installment of the franchise that everyone thinks they know but no one really knows. As it continues to heat up, Bandai has unveiled an all-new slate of action figures and model kits based on the series.
Now, fans are treated to the opportunity to collect high-end figures of the iconic mobile suits and primary characters from the anime.
2025 New Gundam Figures
Bandai Spirits is distributing a family of plastic model kits across 2025 in line with the anime’s episodes. They range from mobile suits to character figurines, allowing fans to re-enact their favorite scenes.
Two of these new collectibles are the Metal Robot Spirits figures. The high grade figures are well featured with that skeletal shiny design that makes them look very much like a mecha futuristic high-class model. They are higher end, with better articulation and detailing, and a must-have for anyone that collects.
GQuuuuuuX Model Kits & Character Figures Revealed
Notably, the main mecha of the series, GQuuuuuuX, has already had the High-Grade (HG) model kit released as of mid-January 2025. Furthermore, Bandai will be also releasing a Metal Robot Spirits version of this mobile suit, so we should have a few choices.
More figures inspired by Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-, the introductory compilation movie, have also been revealed. These include Figure-rise Standard figures of the main characters, Amate “Machu” Yuzuriha and Nyaan, depicted in their casual outfits. Fans can expect these figures to be available by June and July 2025, respectively. Machu’s figure is priced at 4,180 yen (around $28 USD).
In addition to the GQuuuuuuX mecha, which features a newly designed Red Gundam model kit already in the works! This HG model kit will be released in May 2025, adding another exciting offering to Bandai’s extensive Gundam line up.

However, For collectors on the hunt for some high end collectibles, Bandai seems to have two Metal Robot Spirits figures in the works for a late 2023 release:
Red Gundam (June 2025): $156 USD
White Gundam (September 2025): Model based on RX-78-2 Gundam — $128 USD
These figures feature intricate detailing and advanced articulation, making them top-tier collectibles for dedicated Gundam enthusiasts.
Gundam GQuuuuuuX Movie & Global Release Plans
Currently, Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- is playing in Japanese theaters, introducing fans to the latest chapter in the franchise. The film is set to arrive in U.S. theaters by the end of February 2025, allowing Western audiences to experience the story before diving into the new collectibles.
