Superman vs Shazam

Superman vs Shazam: Who will win in the contest between Superman vs Shazam?

Fans of comic books have been asking this age-old query for years because both characters are deadly foes with distinctive skills and advantages. Superman, the Man of Steel, who is renowned for his super strength, super speed, flight, invulnerability, and a variety of other powers, appears on one side of the table. Shazam, a formidable hero with the capacity to channel the divine energies and manipulate lightning, is on the opposing side. Who will win this epic conflict between good and good? To try to predict the outcome, let’s look more closely at each hero’s powers.

Superman

Powers:

Superhuman strength, speed, and freezing breath are just a few of the many skills that Superman possesses. Kryptonian physiology describes him. His cells are pumped full of energy that can be used in a variety of ways as well as under a strong sun. He is incredibly strong, quick, and resilient. He can fly, has super hearing, eyesight, x-ray vision, wind breath, laser vision, and other powers.

Weakness:

Kryptonite, a rare green radioactive rock, is Superman’s most well-known weakness. He can die if he spends too much time near kryptonite, which will puncture through his impenetrable skin. However, magic is Superman’s second shortcoming. Despite Superman’s best efforts, magic will never be less toxic than Kryptonite.

Shazam!

Powers:

Shazam has the extraterrestrial might of six Gods.

Solomon had incredible mental faculties, including a perfect memory, the ability to converse in any language, a profound mastery of all areas of knowledge, and wisdom that was years beyond his years. Hercules’ strength, with its capacity to move stars and planets,

He was given real immortality as Shazam! by the Stamina of Atlas; he was no longer dependent on oxygen, food, or any other form of nourishment.

Zeus’s capacity to travel through time and space, use his famous magical thunderbolt, and be impervious to magic

Achilles’ courage makes him nearly resistant to pain and gives him unshakable resolve. Because of The Speed of Mercury, he can sprint and fly at rates comparable to those of The Flash.

He is not only capable of that. He may also give powers to anyone who have a pure heart, usually those in his adopted family. Giving people authority does not lessen his strength. His abilities seem to be derived from an unending mystical source of strength. Thanks to Atlas, he never loses strength but only gets stronger.

Weakness:

There don’t seem to be any problems in Shazam! However, Billy Batson is a child in every aspect. And what if Billy Batson somehow had to return in Shazam! Anybody can defeat him in such a situation.

Superman vs Shazam

Shazam never simply follows his principles; he always behaves morally. His moral compass is The Wisdom of Solomon, or better, all six Gods. And when Superman gets violent, there aren’t often many people who can question him. Moreover, not only physically! Billy Batson is one of the only people with a strong enough moral compass and strong enough resolve to recognise when Superman has crossed the line.

This has been proven several times in a variety of media. As an example, think of the Justice League Unlimited episode Clash. In the episode, Lex Luthor, Superman’s biggest enemy, uses kryptonite to create a free power generator for 30,000 people. Lex Luthor is no longer trusted by Superman at this moment. Shazam!, on the other hand, is of the opinion that everyone deserves a second chance and has the capacity to improve.

They clash head-on, completely demolishing the newly built city that Lex Corp. financed and built. The generator itself is also damaged. Shazam! respects Superman greatly, therefore even if he isn’t using all of his powers, he is still triumphant. The only reason Superman succeeds in the end is because he is able to cover Batson’s mouth.

They appeared to be standing side by side. And Superman can still think a tiny bit more rapidly than Shazam, even having the Wisdom of Solomon! However, even it won’t get him very far. Actually, in Kingdom Come by Alex Ross, Lex Luthor hypnotised Shazam! Superman was the only member of the Justice League who was even close to being able to defeat him.

Until Shazam! announces his name, shoots down magical lightning, and knocks Superman to the ground, they continue to struggle. Shazam! does, however, temporarily change into Billy Batson. And before Batson can resume his Shazam form, Superman covers his mouth. That seems to be the only way to defeat him.

When they clash, Shazam! never uses all of his abilities. Shazam! has known the risks. But picture if Shazam! empowered his family to battle with him. With the exception of Batson, who was totally in charge and aware of his talents, they all possessed divine power.

Each of them used magic, one of Superman’s two real weaknesses, to assault him with all their might. Thanks to the strength of Atlas, Shazam! never gets tired, although Superman most certainly does. Superman found it difficult to accept. The most current versions of Shazam! also require Billy to control his lightning in order to go through transformation. That renders Superman’s single plan of action useless.

But none of them could ever entirely surpass the other since they both uphold a strict moral code. They are constantly at a standoff. They both value life and one another too highly to truly be able to predict who would win.
